We have yellow fever vaccine, but it is a fractional dose.

Remember fractions from elementary school? I remember my next door neighbor teaching me and my friend one cup is four quarters of a cup. Or a one dollar bill (no loonies at that time) was four quarters. Exact same principle 1 ml vial is opened and four people are given 0.25 ml each. We need to have four people for each vial.The goal is to not waste any vaccine. The fractional dose is $90 and you prepay. The vaccine is non-refundable.

Fractional Yellow Fever Steps:

1. Call 80-735-0100 with Alberta health care card number of each client and book an appointment

2. Meet with the nurse and undergo assessment.

3. Instructed by nurse you need yellow fever.

4. We call you and book you in to our yellow fever clinic.

5. Vaccine is effective for 1 year.
