Traveler's Health Service / Immunization Business Unit
PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Travel

We are by appointment only. The best way to find out about the vaccines you need is to book an appointment, and the nurse will tell you. WE CAN NOT TELL YOU OVER THE PHONE. We have an assessment fee of $48. If you get vaccines that are not covered by Alberta Health, you will ONLY pay for the cost of the vaccine, not the $48 assessment fee. Vaccines are $70 to over $200.

We book children six months to 1-year-old. Any younger (0 to 5 months) and a nurse will call you because it depends on where you are traveling. Anyone 1 to 101 and older can get travel vaccines.

Other Facts:
If you have never had travel vaccines, it is never too late.
We have rabies vaccines for travelers.
We have Fractional Yellow Fever Doses ONLY.
We can never give a vaccine early. (Not even one day early.)
We will never restart a series we only complete a series. (If you got Hep A a long time ago we will just complete the series not restart it.)
