Size Matters

You have your immunization records and the card looks like alphabet soup. There are vaccine codes, date stamps and initials everywhere. You look for the key to the vaccine codes and you see diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis. Next, you may or may not notice if the letters are in upper or lower cases. Small letters demote small doses (0.1 ml vs 0.5 ml) and capital letters indicate large doses. T= tetanus, d and D= diphtheria and p=pertussis
